World’s leading microprocessor manufacturing company “Intel” with India based mobile phone manufacturing company “Lava”, is going to launch its smartphone on Android platform. Currently it will have Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) but it can be upgrade up to its latest version that is Android 4.0 (Icecream Sandwich).

It’s good news for smartphone lovers that they can see much improvement in its hardware especially in its processor & chipset. Emergence of Intel in smartphone world will really make a difference among other smartphone manufacturing company. It was announced on 27 February 2012 in The Mobile world Congress, Its first smartphone Lava XOLO X900 will be available from today (23 April 2012) at Croma stores as well as you can also book it online from xolo.in. In next month (May 2012), it will be available in all retail stores. At the end of this year, Intel and lava both will launch two smartphones on Android platform.

The Lava XOLO X900 has 4.0 inches big screen with faster 3G speeds with advanced hardware with multi-tasking applications or software and many more.

Presently its price will be 22,000 INR.

The Lava XOLO X900 has 4.03 inches, TFT LCD capacitive touch screen which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass with 1024*600 pixels resolution and 294 pixel density with 16 M colors.

It is designed with 123*63*10.99mm dimensions with 127 grams weight with Power key, Camera key and Volume key as well as SIM card slot, microUSB, micro HDMI and 3.5 mm audio jack.

 Processor

The Lava XOLO X900 powered by 1.6 GHz, Inten Atom Z2460 with Hyper Threading and Intel Medifield also it has 400 MHz clock speed with 40 million Triangles per second, PowerVRSGX540 Graphics Core.

 Operating System

First time Intel hits on Google Android Platform with Lava India. Lava XOLO X900 presently works on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) platform and it is upgradable to its latest Android version that is Android 4.0 (Icecream sandwich).

The Lava Xolo X900 offers 16 GB internal memory with 1024 MB (1 GB) RAM. You can’t expand storage capacity because no expansion slot is there.
